
Scott Schulten is the founding member of Schulten Ward Turner & Weiss, LLP. During his 40 years of active practice, Scott represented clients in a broad range of commercial transactions, including the sale, leasing, and development of real estate, and the formation, sale and acquisition of ongoing business ventures.
Biography
In
1986, Scott formed Schulten and Associates, representing clients throughout the
United States and Europe, both in litigation and transaction work. The firm
became Schulten & Ward in 1990, Schulten Ward & Turner, LLP in 1996,
and Schulten Ward Turner & Weiss, LLP in 2016. Since its inception, the
firm has gradually grown in size and in the areas of practice which it handles
for its clients.
Scott served as the
Chair of the Atlanta Bar Association Managing Partner Committee from 2008-2014
and served as an Executive Board Member of Legal Netlink Alliance, an
international association of independent law firms, from 2006 to 2023. He was
listed in the Super Lawyers Top Attorneys twenty year's consecutively, and
named as one of Georgia's Top 100 lawyers from 2020 through 2024.
Scott is an Emeritus
member of the State Bar of Georgia, and assists as needed in the management of
the firm. Since ceasing active practice, Scott has devoted much of his time to
travel. In the spring of 2025, Scott and his wife Tina were fortunate to be
able to teach English to young Buddhist monks at the Kempgon Gompa monastery
and Thangka Painting School in Lukla, Nepal.
