James L. Crocker

Associate

Jimmy Crocker is an attorney in the firm's Commercial Real Estate Division where he represents buyers, sellers, developers, investors, lenders, and business owners in a wide variety of real estate and transactional matters. Drawing on a diverse legal background that spans transactional work, courtroom advocacy, and client counseling, Jimmy is committed to helping clients navigate complex legal matters with practical solutions and personalized service.

Prior to joining the firm, Jimmy served as an Attorney with Hume, Jaacks & Associates, where he facilitated real estate transfers into trusts, and assisted clients with protecting and preserving their assets. His experience also includes drafting estate planning documents and advising clients on a variety of legal matters.

Jimmy earned his Juris Doctor from Atlanta's John Marshall Law School, where he graduated at the top of his class as a Scholar of the Order of the Quill, served as a Staff Editor for the Atlanta's John Marshall Law Review, and was a member of the Judge W. Homer Drake, Jr. Bankruptcy Inn of Court. He also dedicated significant time to public service through the Homeless Veterans Legal Clinic, where he worked directly with veterans to resolve legal issues, expand community outreach efforts, and build partnerships that enhanced access to legal services.

Prior to law school, Jimmy earned a Bachelor of Business Administration magna cum laude in Risk Management and Insurance, along with a Certificate in Legal Studies, from the University of Georgia's Terry College of Business. He is a proud Eagle Scout, and an active member of the State Bar of Georgia.

When not working, Jimmy enjoys making music, hiking, and kayaking.
